We like to think our name and slogan says it all –

Chances are you or someone you know has a little something in their closet they’ve not worn in a while. PersonalCloset.com provides away to sell those items in a non-auction environment (last we checked, no one likes all the added fees and charges). The concept of PersonalCloset, to us, just makes sense.

The idea of PersonalCloset was born after a conversation the founder, Eric McNack of St. Louis, Missouri, had with his wife regardling the lack of closet space in their home (namely for his things). Shortly after the conversation, a mandate was issued by his wife: Build a website for women. A website that allows women to sell clothing and clothing related items in a non-auction environment. Give the website a name that women can identify with. And most importantly, keep it simple. The rest is history.

The aim of PersonalCloset is to become the first name in fashion for the "fashion minded" on a budget. We think you'll like it!
